“The quest to find the ultimate Sunday roast is fraught with below-par offerings. Not here, though - the mixed roast with beef, lamb and pork is world class.”

There is nothing quite like knowing where your food comes from. For far too long we haven’t celebrated the nature of our own regional produce, what makes it particular, what gives it character, what makes it great. Head Chef Simon has always focussed on championing local, British and seasonal produce and they are the heart and soul of the food at The Running Mare. Quality and character are the defining qualities and we at the The Running Mare salute all our local food producers.
